Art of Living (2019-2021)

A series of works that deals with the interpretation of different life states of consciousness, that is, shows the feelings and thoughts that accompanied them. Their constant changes or oscillations that we face through different life situations are shown.
Image and text are presented in parallel, and their relationship is intertextual-image exchange, that is, the relationship between image and text is the mutual relationship of thinking (text) and emotions (image). The text is a self-reflexive analysis of the image, and in this way the viewer’s perception is directed.
Poems are written in different ways and describe thoughts depending on the emotional state caused at that particular moment, while the paintings express psychological and spiritual states through the symbolic use of colors and shapes. Their variations were achieved using a combination of automatic drawing, association, metaphor, symbolic meaning and synesthesia. Visual contrasts and emotional oscillations are felt in the interpretation and interrelationship of all images, in the interrelationship of all songs, and then also in the relationship between the song and the image.

Mechanisms (2017)

The polyptych Mechanisms deals with the interpretation of life, i.e. the allegorical representation of human existence in the modern era. At the same time, he tries to point out the problems of today caused by unconscious automatism. It is based on the research of artistic possibilities and their influence on the observer’s consciousness.
It tries to encourage the observer to know himself and his inner strength, so that his being is not an automatism but an act of conscious and arbitrary reaction. Juggling props represent a tool that we voluntarily set in motion. The wheel has been replaced by a gear and symbolizes the transfer of motion and power to other “gears”. More precisely, it suggests the inner strength of the individual. These props are almost fused, i.e. connected with other elements, suggesting a connection. Because, in fact, one triggers the other. Which ultimately makes the metaphorical representation as a comprehensive view of life, with all the events and decisions that preceded or defined them.
There is no other universe than the human universe.
Jean-Paul Sartre

The path to personal satisfaction or spiritual fulfillment primarily begins with self-awareness. We absolutely need it because we live hastily, as if we are blinded, we live automatically just like a robot.
Man is nothing but his own project, he exists only insofar as he becomes serious, he is, therefore, nothing but the totality of his actions, nothing but his own life.
